Tonometry

Refers to the measurement of pressure within the eye. With a tonometer, we can measure this pressure and help diagnose glaucoma for fast treatment.

K-Laser

Laser therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects such as improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser therapy is used for treatment of osteoarthritis, joint pain, hip dysplasia, chronic wounds, post -surgical pain, puncture wounds, muscle strains, and rehabilitation.

Typical treatment schedules are for 3 consecutive weeks and length ranges from 2 to 8 minutes. Results vary but many pets feel improvement after their first treatment.

Ultrasound and ECGs

Our doctors utilize pet imaging and ultrasound services including sonograms, to examine the vital organs for both diagnostics and procedural guidance, often resulting in no surgery for your pet.

At Little River Animal Hospital, we also perform ECGs or echocardiograms which let us examine the heart, often without using any drugs to sedate  your pet.
